The triumphant return of BISONGRASS as their beefy, groovy, dirty metal graced our bar once more. The hugely popular metal group had a smash hit of a gig, with deep dirty bass tones seeping through the ancient window panes of our dive bar and out into the night air to cause havoc.
The acts on this night were banger after banger. All the way from Edinburgh, dirty punk rock 'n' roll legends Lixx played their glam punk brilliance at maximum volume. Listening to Lixx recorded tracks is like watching a fireworks display on your smartphone: you're missing out not seeking them out live.
Longtime Krakatoa friends Deadloss Motherfuckin Superstar played a predictably awesome gig. Veterans of the Krakamoorings stage, the hard rock alt punk survivors stress-tested the foundations nicely with gnarly guitar solos and unrestrained harmonica blasts.
Lethal to step on, yet so good at making you tap your foot, Stonefish set the night off like a firecracker. The Magma scene mainstays brought awesome alt grunge rock riffs with them, and left behind a ream of search results for 'stone fish Aberdeen'.
It was an unforgettable night of fucking heavy glorious music, brought to you along the magic of the superinformation highway right to your ears.
